For example, interfacing is another common type of interlining used to reinforce collars, cuffs, and waistbands in garments. What this means is whether or not your shirt or jacket have some part that looks symmetrical and sharp. Fusible interlining on the other hand has one side that is adhesive which allows you to easily attach it to the fabric more easily, slip-less sewing cuts. There are different other types such as wadding, fleece, stabilizers etc.. each which make the garments look and feel nice in their respective way.
